Food could be better but there are a ton of options to choose from on campus and in Granville. The school is the perfect size, in my opinion. The town of Granville is quaint, but not very active. I was worried that I would find it difficult to know anyone with so many people. At the same time, we are to "be kind to one another" ( Ephesians 4:32), refusing to dehumanize or condemn any human being. BUT there is not a lot to do outside of school, like there's no "college town" atmosphere about Granville, Ohio. DU has a history of drug use and the students are smart enough to be safe. And Denisons curriculum features academic programs in data analytics, financial economics, global commerce, global health, and journalism, among others. Who like to have one on one conversations with their professors. Denison's administration is a bit messed up; they have been known to prosecute minor offenses too harshly. From the student perspective, it can't all be perfect, can it? I'm just a normal kid, and I happened to end up at Denison because of the English program. Off-campus, small group of men and women who work to make the place ecologically sustainable. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, and when you're an upperclassmen you get more options for suites and apartment-style living. I personally loved my experience at Denison.
